This would be a variant of what ERBFirsts.com shows as the first print run only had six full color illustrations and 36 black and white. This 6th printing comes with neither a dust jacket or a slipcase as issued in the first and second print runs respectively.

The Hollings lived among Native Americans for a time, and their books have been praised for their authenticity.
